Performers

Tripping Lily
Tripping LillyYou only have to hear them once to become fans of Tripping Lily. This young quartet might be described as a string band with pop music sensibilities, or perhaps a cutting edge vocal quartet with acoustic instruments. With two Independent Music Award nominations, being featured on Showtime’s new hit series “The Big C”, hitting number one for several weeks on Boston’s Folk Station WUMB , it is no wonder why the Boston Globe called the band “… a genre unto itself.”

With Demetrius Becrelis (guitar/vocals/ukulele), brother Alex Becrelis (mandolin/vocals), Monica Rizzio (fiddle/vocals/ukulele) and Laird Boles (stringed bass), Tripping Lily blends a unique sound of traditional and contemporary genres. A group of musicians who draw their inspiration from within, Tripping Lily has deeply explored songwriting with their personal and passionate work. Touted as fresh, energetic and alive, Tripping Lily’s pop-rock groundwork is cross-fertilized with folk music and cutting edge vocal harmonies.

Will DaileyWill Dailey
Winner of the Boston Music Award for Best Male Singer/Songwriter, Will Dailey writes timeless music that speaks to the soul. Will's music has been featured on hit TV shows like The Hills, CSI:Miami and CSI: New York. Will has also performed live on TV shows such as The Early Show and Late Night with Craig Ferguson. As written by Dan Aquilante of The New York Post, "Forget the last five months of force-fed artificial pop music on TV that just crowned a king (who I'm betting will be forgotten as quickly as he was created) -- Will Dailey is the real deal"

Brothers McCann
Brother's McCannBrothers McCann is impressively taking New England by storm, cultivating their "roots pop” sound with every performance. With their debut album, Different Colors, and a busy road schedule, they continue to welcome new members into the Brothers McCann Family. Like the members of the band, their music is expressively authentic. With soulful, folk-pop roots, Brothers McCann tunes range from introspective falsetto narratives to intensely full and invigorating jams with acoustic tonalities. One of the most salient characteristics of Brothers McCann is the propensity for weaving staggering 3-part harmony into full-blown rock and roll. The originality of Pat and Mike’s songwriting is veiled with a friendliness that makes the melodies memorable upon first listen – and impossible not to sing along to! At any given live show there is a palpably strong connection between the band and the crowd that is born out of obvious gratitude, humility, and a downright love for music.

From their song about silent Maine winters to their annual summer festival in Vermont, Brothers McCann is a “ground-up” New England band through and through. With the release of Different Colors this November (made of all-Green manufacturing materials!), the five "Brothers" greatly anticipate expanding their horizons and spreading a little bit of New England love around the country.

Adam Hofmann
Adam HofmannAs far back as Adam Hofmann can remember, music has been the most inspiring and powerful influence of his life. Blessed with a childhood where he was exposed to the wonders of the Grateful Dead, Stevie Wonder and the Allman Brothers, and combined with a gift for piano performance, voice and song writing, it is no surprise that he has never strayed far from his passion for music. As a young man Adam Hofmann attended Berklee College of Music and studied Contemporary Writing and Production. It was then that he broadened his passion for jazz music and was spiritually influenced by jazz and blues greats like Thelonious Monk, Herbie Hancock, and Buddy Guy.

The Adam Hofmann Revival is Adam Hofmann, Brian Sances, Chris Carrol, Mike Pinho is Rock 'n Roll that's honest, emotional, raw. With a deep appreciation for the complexities of music, the band crosses genres and breaks molds. Mixing elements of classic rock, jam band music and strong songwriting, Adam Hofmann Revival puts on a high emotion show.

Sarah Borrello
Sarah BorrelloLoud, Ferocious, and Sexy

Sarah Borrello knocks your soul to the ground on an opening note and once you regain your balance.... hold on - the ride has just begun.

1/4 cup Grace Slick,
1/2 cup Fiona Apple
1/3 Janice Joplin melted

Sarah entered the world of music at an early age beginning with classical piano lessons. After 12 years of study, she turned on her heels and picked up a guitar to enter the world of rock. Sarah's self taught vocals came hours of training her vocals to the harmonies of Kate Pearson and Cindy Wilson of the B-52's, whom she describes as "the most perfect harmonies".

Playing both guitar and piano Sarah creates emotionally-driven original music that her voice imprints into souls which she has been captivating audiences with in New England for the past 6 years. She has won a number of competitions including the Boston Folk Festival Songwriting contest at 15 and the John Lennon songwriting competition in which she took second prize at the age of 16.

Black MarmotBlack Marmot

The music of Black Marmot is a blend of acoustic folk and rock. With the occasional touch of blues and country, the songs are an appealing mixture of melodic stylings. Upbeat and light-hearted compilations are contrasted starkly with dark fictitious stories.

Each song is so unique, drawing from a multitude of musical and lyrical backgrounds, that there is never any repetition; only the constant reinvention of the band.

Jeff Connelly

Mellow, yet upbeat folk tunes served on homemade, antique, electric instruments.

"I have always been interested in Classic Americana: old cars, motorcycles, guitars, etc. For years I searched for and researched vintage guitars, and finally purchased two 1960s Gibsons. Two years ago they were stolen after a show. With a full schedule, I needed to continue playing. With many old parts lying around at home, i decided to build. At first I built out of necessity, soon it became a passion."

The Jeff Conley Band has shared the stage with such acts as Bela Fleck, Zakir Hussain & Edgar Meyer, Rusted Root, the Rustic Overtones, State Radio, the members of Dispatch, The Ryan Montbleau Band, Barefoot Truth, Will Dailey & The Rivals & many more.
